How the Sender Extreme app handles your information — in plain words.
Effective date: 7 October 2026 · Applies to Sender Extreme for Android (website and Google Play versions), Windows, iPhone/iPad (web app) and the web.
Sender Extreme is a free messaging app made and run by Christopher Marlowe Suarez Macalino (“the developer”, “we”), Poipet, Cambodia. For any privacy question or request, write to christophermarl168@gmail.com.
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Account details: your name, e-mail address, password (stored only in scrambled/hashed form), and optionally your phone number, @username, profile photo and bio | To create your account, sign you in, and let people find and recognise you |
| Your private number: a random number the app gives your account | So people can contact you without knowing your phone number |
| Messages and what you send: text, photos, videos, voice and video messages, files, polls, stickers, reactions and locations you choose to send, in normal chats, groups and channels | To deliver them and keep them in sync on all your devices |
| Stories and live streams you post, and who viewed your stories | To show them to the people you chose |
| Calls: who called whom, when, how long, and whether it was answered (not the sound or video) | To connect calls and show your call history |
| Your contacts list inside Sender Extreme, blocked people, folders and settings | To run those features |
| Online status and “last seen” time | To show friends when you are online, if your privacy settings allow it |
| Device and session details: device name (for example “Android app · Galaxy A15”), platform, app version, when a device signed in and was last active | To list your signed-in devices in Settings → Devices & sessions, so you can sign them out |
| Notification tokens: a random code for each of your devices (and, in the Google Play version, Google’s push token) | To send you new-message and call notifications when the app is closed |
| Donation records (only if you report a donation): method, amount, reference number, the name and country you enter, and a note | So the developer can confirm the donation and thank you |
| Reports you send: the reason, your note, and — when you report a message — that message and up to 5 messages before it | So the Sender Extreme team can check the report and keep the app safe (see section 6) |
| Safety records: warnings, suspensions and bans of an account, and why | To enforce the rules and prevent abuse |
| Phone contacts (Android, only when you ask — see section 5) | To show which people from your phone use Sender Extreme. Not stored. |
We do not collect your location in the background, your SMS messages, your call log, advertising IDs, or browsing history. Messages in secret chats are encrypted on your device; the server only stores encrypted data it cannot read.
We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
Your information is shared only with the people you choose to communicate with, and with these service providers that run parts of the app for us:
| Service | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, file storage, sign-in and live connection (the app’s server) | Your account, messages (normal chats), files, and the other information in section 2 |
| Netlify | Hosts the website and app downloads/updates | Standard web request data (such as IP address) when you open the website or the app downloads an update |
| Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google Play version only) | Wakes your phone for notifications | Your phone’s push token and an encrypted notification that only your phone can read |
| Google STUN servers | Help two phones connect for a call | Your IP address during call setup (calls themselves go directly between the two devices, encrypted) |
| MyMemory (translated.net) | Translation | Only the text you tap “Translate” on |
| Your phone’s speech service (for example Google) | Voice typing | Your voice, only while you use voice typing |
| OpenStreetMap | Maps | A location, only when you open one on the map |
During a call, the two devices connect directly, so the person you call can technically see your device’s IP address. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect users from serious harm.
In Contacts → Find friends from my phone contacts, the Android app can show which people saved in your phone use Sender Extreme. This happens only after you tap it, read an explanation, and allow Android’s Contacts permission.
You can report a person (their profile → ••• → Report) or a message (press and hold it → Report), and you can block anyone.
The app asks for camera, microphone, notifications, photos/videos, contacts and other permissions only for the features that need them. The full list and the reason for each is on the declaration page. You can refuse or remove any permission; only the feature that needs it stops working.
All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption. The database only lets each user read what they are allowed to see. Secret chats are end-to-end encrypted, Google Play notifications are encrypted for your phone only, and you can protect the app with a PIN or fingerprint lock. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
You can delete your Sender Extreme account and its data at any time:
For e-mail requests, your account and the data described in section 8 are deleted within 30 days. Backups are cleared within a further 30 days. You don’t need to have the app installed to ask.
Sender Extreme is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date, and important changes are announced in the app.
